A lot of people assumed that the Rolex Milgauss and IWC Ingenieur does not have a challenger from the Orient. Actually they do in the form of the Grand Seiko SBGR077/9 series. Launched in 2012, these watches are able to resist magnetic fields (non-magnetic) with a rating of 80,000 A/m.
The mechanical model will come with either a black dial (SBGR079) or a white dial (SBGR077). These watches are powered by Caliber 9S65, a self-winding mechanical movement that is rated to +5/-3 seconds per day.
All versions have stainless steel cases with a 39.4 mm diameter. The sapphire glass has an inside anti-reflective treatment. Screw locked crown, water-resistance to 100 meters.

These are beautiful examples of engineering perfection. I have the Milgauss and the Ingenieur. I want one to complete the collection.
