Montblanc Grand Tourbillon Heures Mysterieuses – too exclusive

Part of the Villeret 1858 Collection, this piece features a large balance wheel set with jewels. And the mystery part? The hour and minute markers on the dial seem to float. This is done by the markers being subtly, almost invisibly attached to the ring around which they move.

Born out of the Montblanc-Minerva union, this was the first tourbillon that symbolized their partnership and, with only 17 pieces in this exclusive lineup – 1 piece in platinum, 8 pieces in white gold and 8 pieces in rose gold. Why must they plan to have this piece so exclusive? Can’t they have it in a 1,000 piece LE run instead?!?
