Chanel J12 Tourbillon Retrograde Mystérieuse watch works on a different mechanism as compared to the other traditional watches. For the first 10 minutes hours and minutes are read traditionally i.e., till the 2 o’ clock position after which the minute hand reverse its path and starts moving anti-clockwise and takes ten minutes to return to its traditional position at 4 o’clock. Every minute passed during this retro-gradation can be read on a disc engraved 11 to 19. This disc is active only for ten minutes and the rest of the 50 minutes it remains neutral. The anti-clockwise movement of the hand doesn’t have any adverse effect on the accuracy of the watch. The specialty of this watch is the crown that is placed vertically on the dial and has to be pressed to make it usable. The ceramic case is perfectly rounded with a diameter of 47 mm and has a power reserve of 10 days. The watch is available in two colors black and white.
