For the last couple of months, I suddenly got the knack for engraved or painted dials (must be getting old!). When Bulgari launched the limited edition Commedia dell’ Arte, this piece caught my eye immediately. The scene from a classic Italian palace of the sixteenth century has been embossed and entirely hand-painted. The right corner and center of the watch displays the characters while the left corner has been taken up by numerals. The bottom is a digital window. I believe the hands of the center character points to the minutes, the hands of the character on the bottom right shows the power reserve level and window at the bottom shows the hour (can someone please confirm?).
This watch is powered by a BVL 618 caliber, 18,000 vph, jumping hour mechanics, retrograde minute and a power reserve of 48 hrs.
I love to get my hands on one!!!
