  1. Any idea when the prw 3000 is due for release in the UK? I need this ASAP for a mountain climb next week 🙂

  2. when is this model being released worldwide?this is the best upgrade in casio protreks in last one decade or the way it does not look like suunto, but looks better and more compact

  3. Promotional materials claim that the PRW-3000 can take altitude measurements every second, but when you look at the technical specifications, nothing has changed — it is still measuirng only once every 5 seconds, …. and that for just the first hour. After the first hour, it reverts back to the horrible 2 minutes interval. So, where is the improvement? When I ski for 7 or 8 hours, I would like to record the total vertical skied. But, in 2 minutes, I can ski down the slope in less than a minute and then back uphill again at least part of the way on a ski lift. By taking measurements only once every 2 minutes, this Casio watch would miss a lot of the vertical that I have actually skied. Casio is completely ignoring skiers and snowboarders.

  4. did someone bought this watch already? how do you think it’l fit on a small wrist guy? someone like 5’5 in height… i really want this kinda watch, but it seems like protrek line ups where to big to wear on the wrist….
